Cup of cat-poo coffee for $106

A CUP of coffee touted as the world's most expensive is made from beans excreted by a cat.

The coffee, on sale for $A106, originates from South East Asia and is made from the civet's poo.

The civet is a cat which has the knack for identifying the most superior beans, Metro.co.uk reported.

Workers grab the civet's waste after it has eaten the beans and excreted them.

If you feel like a cup, the brew is on sale at Peter Jones in Sloane Square, central London.
